Hi, Makiko and Jason! how are things going, just saying hello, and wondering how the Willow Room is coming along and hope you both have a safe and fun trip to Japan! Take care, keep in touch.
Vanessa & Jason
I am looking forward to the pictures of the new room, I remember seeing the new “bed” during our last visit…very interesting. Hope all is well with you both and looking forward to seeing you soon.
The room is completed, and so far the reviews from customers have been good. I need to update the pictures and will try to do it in the next week. To say ‘futon’ does not do it justice. It is the Japanese style futon, not the American style pullout sofa-thing.
Hello…
we’re looking forward to seeing you two soon. Anthony says he’s sorry he can’t come too… and he says “Go Tampa Bay Rays”
although I still think the Boston Red Sox are always the best team!!

Hi Jason & Makiko,
My fiance & I stayed over July 3rd & have been meaning to write ever since! The room we stayed in was the authentic Japanese room and it was really cool. BTW, the pictures do not do it justice…much bigger than the photos make it to be. New pics would be great! We just wanted to tell everyone that we had an absolutely wonderful time in your home!! The work that you have done to the house is simply amazing. It has such a peaceful & calm feeling. And we were so impressed by your your warm & enviting hospitality. You made us feel very welcome. Also, we both LOVED the breakfasts both Japanese & American. Japanese breakfast - what a treat!! I would highly recommend your B&B to anyone!!! Can’t wait till we’re up on the North Shore & can stay again
Thank you,
Grant & Joanne
Hello Jason, Makiko and Asuka,
We all want to thank you so much for your hospitality! We really enjoyed staying at Kaede and hope to be back soon.
William still talks about the breakfast - my pancakes cannot even come close! Jeff and I especially appreciated the Japanese breakfast.
As soon as I get into the pottery studio I am going to try to glaze by the dip/toss method - but, not being a baseball pitcher, I doubt my results will be anywhere near as nice as Jason’s!
Thanks again,
Liz, Jeff and William
